Clinical Research Coordinator *** Broome Oncology***Johnson City, NY
The Research Coordinator is primarily responsible for conducting patient visits and serves as a bridge between the clinical staff / Principal Investigator (Pl) and the Clinical Research Manager. Responsibilities involve research patient care, data collection, data entry, adverse event identification, and reporting, patient follow-up, records management, regulatory document management, quality assurance, and other activities related to research and clinical care.
Requirements
BS degree in life sciences or related research field required (advanced degrees preferred)
Graduate of an RN program from an accredited school of nursing(Preferred)
CRA/CRC certification preferred (ACRP or SoCRA)
BLS preferred or obtain after employment
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Minimum of two years clinical research experience with understanding and leveraging of standard clinical practices with regard to informed consent, biospecimen collection, and handling.
Other certification as applicable to clinical degree or program (i.e. medical assistant, medical technician, phlebotomy)
